Ruud Nijs new chairman of advisory board ESNL

Energy Storage NL (ESNL) has appointed Ruud Nijs as the new chairman of its Advisory Board. With his extensive experience in the financial sector, sustainable development and entrepreneurship, Ruud Nijs brings a valuable combination of strategic insight and community involvement to this role.

Ruud is co-founder, former CEO and now commissioner of GIGA Storage and has held various executive positions at Rabobank and ABN Amro bank, among others. Currently Ruud is commissioner and co-founder of Catalise Energy, a company that specializes in risk management solutions for renewable energy projects that will improve the financeability of these projects.

The purpose of ESNL's Advisory Board is to provide solicited and unsolicited advice to the organization's Board of Directors on ESNL's strategic choices, social relevance and increasing impact. The council thus forms a bridge between the Board of Directors and the members of ESNL and helps ensure ESNL's long-term vision.

The arrival of Ruud Nijs also starts a renewal process of the Advisory Board. Indeed, the Advisory Board will be further expanded with new advisory members who want to contribute to the further development of ESNL with their knowledge and network.
