Qurmit presents new business battery QurmitXL
With the introduction of the QurmitXL battery, Dutch company Qurmit is launching a new energy storage system specifically designed for business users struggling with grid congestion. The lead gel battery can be placed indoors and, according to the manufacturer, combines maximum safety with flexible capacity and durability.
Safe system
The 100 percent fire-safe gel technology, sourced from parent company TSS4U, means that the system can be installed indoors without the need for additional safety measures. 'The QurmitXL is produced in the Netherlands, consists of 50 percent recycled material and is at least 95 percent recyclable,' points out Jan-Willem Linsen, founder of Qurmit. 'The deliberate choice of local production with European components ensures transparency and reliability in this regard.'
Up to 800 kilowatt hours
The system offers energy storage capabilities with power ratings from 18 to 108 kilowatts and capacities from 57 to 800 kilowatt hours. This allows companies to tailor their system to their specific energy needs and future growth. According to the company, the QurmitXL was developed in response to the increasing grid congestion in the Netherlands, where businesses are increasingly bogged down by an overloaded power grid.
