Vacancy: Energy Storage Project Manager

For example, there are 30 industries affiliated with FME. For one of our industries, Energy Storage NL, we are looking for a: Energy Storage Project Manager 32-36 hours.
What will you do?
In this role as Project Manager at Energy Storage NL (ESNL) you will support the trade association for the Dutch energy storage sector, with more than 200 members. You will initiate and realize projects and play a key role in accelerating the energy transition by representing the interests of the sector.
You make connections between member companies, knowledge institutions, interest groups and governments, and translate technical knowledge about energy storage in electricity, heat and molecules into practical solutions and strategic choices for stakeholders. You supervise working groups, represent member interests to grid managers, ACM, ministries and members of parliament, and work closely with colleagues, the board and other industry associations.
In addition, you are responsible for achieving organizational, qualitative and financial goals from the annual plans, and for building and maintaining a network of relevant stakeholders.

In addition, you can expect from us
- For this position, the salary for full-time employment is in the range of €4,020 to €6,701 gross per month. We have a fair and transparent remuneration policy, in which we scale new colleagues based on their background, expertise and experience. We do this in conjunction with the existing salary structure so that internal relationships remain in balance.
- 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days on a full-time basis;
- A laptop and cell phone from FME;
- Home working budget for workplace furnishing of up to €750 for 5 years;
- Home working allowance of €2.40 per day;
- An elective budget of €300, pro rata employment, for earmarked goals focused on vitality and Smart Working
- Finally, FME values development and well-being. Employees within FME are encouraged to work on his or her development and well-being. To this end, in addition to personal (study) requests, FME makes available the online platform Open Up (quick access to 1:1 sessions with psychologists and group sessions).
Who are you?
You are an energetic project manager with an interest in energy transition and policy making within this domain. You have a helicopter view on the energy system and know how to connect public and private stakeholders to accelerate the transition to a sustainable energy system. In addition, you are independent, proactive and entrepreneurial. You have a hands-on mentality and are able to quickly master the subject matter. You are flexible, and you can work well with employees from different disciplines. Diplomacy and solution orientation are essential to steer divergent interests together toward a common goal.
Job requirements
- You have 2 to 5 years of experience leading projects in / around energy transition and have a completed college/university education.
- Content knowledge of energy markets, the power grid, and laws and regulations is a plus;
- You are policy savvy and can switch well on content between members, politics and other stakeholders.
