Knowledge Session Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES).

Retrieved from Thursday, March 13 Energy Storage NL, Battery Competence Cluster and TKI Urban Energy are organizing a knowledge session on Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES). The goal is to come to a more shared view on the role of LDES in the new energy system, and what it will take to get there. The following topics will be covered: 

• What is the added value of LDES to the renewable energy system, and when/why does it become significant? 

• What are the developments around LDES in practice, what are real expectations/estimates? 

• What will it take from the market, grid management/ACM and government to move LDES forward? 

The program will be worked out in more detail in the near future, but the event will take place at ESNL in Zoetermeer, from 9:00 to 12:00, followed by a networking lunch.
