Pig farmer Luc Rotink

Working with Friday Energy, Luc Rotink chose a battery storage system with a total charging and discharging capacity of 300 kW and a storage capacity of 696 kWh. The batteries store excess solar power and deploy it when it makes the most financial or operational sense. Through the smart Friday Flex EMS, this is done fully automatically, based on market prices and consumption data.

Friday Energy acts as an aggregator, handling everything from energy management through the MLOEA structure to monthly reporting and payment of revenues. Thus, the company effortlessly benefits from energy market returns and optimal own consumption.
