Webinar: Future battery profiles: how grid operators are trying to predict battery behavior in 2035

Grid operators must look far into the future for investments. This requires them to try to predict certain technologies: how much of this technology is coming and where. But also: at what times will they consume or feed in? This is still relatively easy with a solar panel or heat pump, but difficult for batteries. When will batteries be used or fed back over the next 10 years? And how does this vary between different types of batteries?

In this webinar, two experts from Enexis Netbeheer take you through a new method devised by the regional grid operators to simulate the future behavior of batteries. This method tries to make a prediction of how batteries will be used in the future, which profile belongs to it and how this changes between types of batteries. Based on these profiles, a better estimate can be made of the grid impact that batteries will have on average.
