Energy Storage NL welcomes new director Arendo Schreurs
As of Monday, June 1, Energy Storage NL welcomes its new director, Arendo Schreurs. With his broad experience at the intersection of energy, sustainability, innovation and public affairs, Arendo brings a valuable combination of substantive expertise and strategic leadership to the industry organization.
Arendo has held various managerial and advisory positions within the energy sector in recent years and has extensive experience in connecting business, government and civil society organizations. His background in energy transition and fits closely with the ambitions of Energy Storage NL and the rapidly growing role of energy storage within the future energy system.
A great step to be able to contribute to the realization of the energy transition in a significant sector. A sector indispensable in the current and certainly also the future energy system, a sector that will only become more important in the coming years for stable, affordable and independent energy.

With Arendo's arrival, Energy Storage NL is taking the next step in further professionalizing and strengthening the sector. The association sees in him a connecting and energetic director who can powerfully represent the interests of its members and help further strengthen the position of energy storage in the Netherlands.
With Arendo we welcome a director who combines in-depth knowledge of the energy transition with extensive experience in connecting public and private parties. His strategic insight, enthusiasm and strong network make him ideally suited to take over from Jeroen Neefs as director of Energy Storage NL. The handover will take place in the coming weeks. At the end of July, Jeroen Neefs will finally complete his work as director of Energy Storage NL.
